With 20 years’ experience and a solid track record in the Hotel and real estate investment industries, Amir Lababedi is Vice President Development, Middle East and Africa for Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts.
Amir graduated from the University of Surrey with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, and holds a master’s degree in Global Banking and Finance from the European Business School in London.
His experience covers investment advisory services to many of the world’s leading hotel investment stakeholders throughout EMEA, while his operational experience is supplemented by a decade of operational experience. Amir has also produced extensive development strategies for hotels and other real estate asset classes for sovereign wealth funds in the UAE.
Amir has contributed significantly to the development of Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts in the Middle East region during his tenure over the last 2 years and has recently been appointed to lead development in Africa in addition to his roles in the Middle East and Asia.
